COOKIE POLICY

Cookie

Chill Remedy may use cookies (small text files transferred from the web server to the user’s computer) and other technologies for reading and/or storing information about the user’s device such as emailtrackers, whose purpose is to inform the server about the user’s access to that particular web page, and any other news it obtains from the readable parameters of the system through functions contained in the web page, to customize and facilitate the browsing experience of users and, in some cases with their consent, to enrich the profiling of users for advertising and /or commercial purposes. Cookies can be “temporary” (or sessional, they are deleted at the end of the link) or “permanent” (they remain stored on the user’s hard drive, unless the user himself deletes them).

The cookies used by our websites and apps are distinguished in the two types identified by the Italian Guarantor for the protection of personal data (“Privacy Guarantor”) with General Provision cd. “Cookies” measure of May 8, 2014, of which the Data Controller follows the requirements in terms of information and need/method of collecting consent. In particular, this policy also represents the extension of the synthetic banner already displayed by the user when connecting to the website and/or at the time of installation of the app.

Based on the aforementioned provision of the Italian Privacy Guarantor, our websites and apps use: https://www.garanteprivacy.it/home_en

“Technical cookies”, that is, strictly necessary for the operation of the site/app and/or the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user. This category of cookies includes the analytics used by the site owner to collect information, aggregated information, the number of users and how they visit the site itself. For the use of this type of cookies, the user’s consent is not required, unless he expressly denies it for one or all technical cookies (listed below).

“Profiling cookies” of its own and/or third parties, i.e. cookies potentially aimed at creating/enriching profiles related to the user and used in order to send and /or show advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of navigation. For the use of this type of cookies, the user’s (optional) consent is always required. The user can choose which profiling cookies to give consent to. When it comes to cookies cd. “third parties”, i.e. installed/used on the site by third parties with respect to each Data Controller, the user lends or denies consent directly to the owner of the cookie in question, to which the Data Controller only refers with links.

The following profiling/non-technical cookies and/or other e-mail tracking technologies are used:

Owners

For commercial profiling purposes for direct marketing, only with the consent to online profiling by the data subject (such consent is optional and is requested, together with others, when a user registers on the site).

To perform these functions, it provides a single cookie that before operating will verify the privacy consents issued by the registry combined with that cookie. It is important to point out that the cookie will first verify the privacy consents issued, and only then it will take action or not. In addition, in the event that a user through his browser requests the deletion of cookies, our cookie will actually be removed (this is not one of those cookies that resist the request for cookie deletion made via browser). For this reason we recommend to all interested parties who do not want our cookie to delete it.

By third parties

Each of the listed third-party cookies can be deactivated by following the link indicated for each. It is also possible to manage/disable cookies directly from browser settings or through https://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices. For more information on how to set preferences on the use of cookies through your browsing browser, you can consult the related instructions:

To object to the use of profiling tools other than cookies (e-mail trackers), please contact the following e-mail address of the Data Controller: support@chillremedy.com

The use of additional persistent cookies and session cookies (which are not persistently stored on the user’s computer and vanish with the closure of the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow the safe and efficient exploration of the Site. The c.d. session cookies used by the site avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identifying data of the user.

The Site also incorporates plugins and/or buttons for social networks, in order to allow easy sharing of content on your social networks. These plugins are programmed in such a way as not to set any cookies at the access of the page, to safeguard the privacy of users. If necessary, cookies are set, if so provided by social networks, only when the user makes effective and voluntary use of the plugin. Please note that if the user browses being logged into the social network then he has already consented to the use of cookies conveyed through this site at the time of registration to the social network.

The collection and use of the information obtained through the plugin are regulated by the respective privacy policies of the social networks, to which please refer:

1. General information about cookies used

The website https://chillremedy.com (hereafter “the website”) uses cookies and other related technologies (for convenience all technologies are called “cookies”). Cookies are also entered by third parties appointed by Chill Remedy. Below is information about the use of cookies on the Chill Remedy website.

The Cookie Policy specifies all information about the use of these in relation to the sites, applications, services, products and tools of www.chillremedy.com (hereafter jointly “the Site”), as well as the options that the user can use while browsing. This Cookie Policy must be read together with the information contained in the Privacy Policy available on the Site at the https://chillremedy.com

This Cookie Policy is valid regardless of how you access and use the services of the Chill Remedy site: it therefore also applies to access via mobile devices and apps.

Normally almost all browsers are set to automatically accept Cookies. Users can still change the default configurations themselves from their device at any time.

On the occasion of the first visit on the Chill Remedy website, a popup with an explanation of cookies will be shown. By clicking on “All Cookies”, you allow Chill Remedy to use all cookies and plugins as described in this popup and cookie statement. It is possible to disable cookies through the User’s browser, taking into account that the site may no longer work properly.

As specified above, the disabling or deletion of cookies may, however, preclude the optimal use of certain areas and/or functions of the site or compromise the use of the services offered.

Users can decide from time to time whether or not to accept Cookies and can also configure their browser to generate an alert every time a Cookie is saved.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are simple files sent together with the pages of this site and saved by the User’s browser on the hard disk of the user’s computer or on other devices. The information collected in them may be sent back to our servers or to third-party servers during subsequent visits.

The cookies used can be of the following type: (1) persistent, i.e. they remain stored on the hard disk of the user’s device until they expire; (2) session, that is, they are not persistently stored on the hard disk of the user’s device and are then deleted when the browser is closed.

Cookies are used to: (a) facilitate navigation within the site and ensure its correct use; (b) facilitate access to services that require authentication (preventing users from having to re-enter authentication credentials each time they access services); (c) for statistical purposes, to find out which areas of the site have been visited; (d) for optimal management of pages and advertising spaces; (e) to deliver content and advertising in line with the choices made by navigators (so-called behavioral advertising with dynamic creativity).

Session Cookies are used to transmit the identifiers of browsing sessions that allow the safe and efficient exploration of the Chill Remedy site. Session Cookies used on the Chill Remedy website avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users’ browsing and are also used to improve the provision of the proposed services.

In addition, cookies may be typical of the site (used, for example, to know the number of pages visited within the site itself), or of third parties (i.e. generated by other sites to provide content on the site visited by users). This site may use anonymous cookies of third parties in order to manage the delivery of advertising messages in a dynamic and evolved way. The most popular browsers provide the possibility to block only cookies of third parties, accepting only those specific to the site. In addition, some sites that generate Cookies on third-party sites offer the possibility to easily and immediately disable and/or inhibit only their Cookies, even when they are anonymous or do not involve the registration of personal identifying data such as, for example, IP addresses.

Cookies used for the aggregate analysis of visits to the Site

The Chill Remedy site uses aggregated analysis tools of browsing data that allow you to improve the site (Google Analytics, Google Optimize). These tools use cookies that are installed on the user’s device in order to allow the site manager to analyze how they use the site itself. The information generated by cookies about the user’s use of the site (including the IP address anonymized by masking certain fields) will be transmitted and deposited on Google’s servers.

The aforementioned information may be used for the purpose of tracking and examining the use of the sites by users, for reporting activities and to provide other services related to the activity of the site, as well as to perform navigation.

Users will in any case have the opportunity to inhibit the use of Google Analytics and prevent its storage on their device through the appropriate browser add-on for the deactivation of Google Analytics, made available by Google at the address https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB. To activate this component that inhibits the system of sending information about the user’s visit, simply install it following the instructions on the screen, close and reopen the browser.

Cookies used to serve interest-based ads

Sites may use third-party Cookies to run ads defined according to the interests of users. This information is collected while browsing and is in no way linked to the account with which the latter accesses the sites. In particular, Google Adwords of Google Inc. uses navigation data within its online advertising circuit to offer ads more relevant to the user’s interests manifested during browsing sessions. The Chill Remedy site uses the aforementioned technology and uses browsing data within the site of its own ownership to offer the user targeted and interest-based advertising.

You may change these configurations to inhibit Cookies or set preferences so that only some of them are used on your device. There are various possibilities regarding the management of Cookies and, in this regard, the user can refer to the instruction manual or the settings of his browser to find out how to configure or change the settings on cookies.
